Health Promotion Specialist Required

The Centre for Community Oral Health (CCOH), Faculty of Dentistry, is a not-for-profit organization that administers dental programs catering to undeserved populations on behalf of the University of Manitoba. We are looking for a health promotion professional to promote oral health in our Manitoba programs.

Permanent Full-time Position
The incumbent in this full-time position will join our existing Health Promotion Team and contribute to conceptualizing, planning and implementation of Health Promotion initiatives targeting Manitoba’s disadvantaged populations.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or diploma/certificate in a relevant oral health or health related discipline (Dental Hygienist, Dietician, Nursing, etc) required.

Must have directly-related experience in health promotion and have demonstrated successful leadership and program coordination. A sound understanding of the principles of community development and population health is essential.
